It was my second sunset in Rome. The place – The Pincio Hill, overlooking Piazza del Popolo. There were many people and the terrace was full. I managed to sneak in and to take a strategic place to photograph the sunset over the square. I waited for the sun to drop enough… And here is… the light, the view, everything came out. There were other tourists, who wanted to shoot that moment, so I started moving away.
The Perfect Photo…
And then before me appeared the opportunity to take the most lovely photo of Rome! Two people, maybe in love… or at least they looked happy…Between them… the setting sun…! At that moment I was sure, that I took a great photo, I just felt it.
The symbolism…
When I came home that was the first photo that I edited… I love to add a text to my photos, so they can come alive. I found the right one for this photo… I found it at the blog of Evelina Milenova… I could hardly find more precise words to describe that picture…
”It took me a moment to realize that Italy’s secret is hidden in the accidental things… It is in all those little details… like the paving-blocks, the narrow streets, the colorful flowerpots, the tender music, the lively conversations, the delicious food and the bright sun… Details that fit so well together that they create a unique romantic picture… The secret of Italy is in the chance to fall in love at every corner…”
