Childhood dream / Детска мечтаAt first sight this is a simple photo taken with phone… But for me is something more… Anfield Road at match day… The overcrowded rostrum THE KOP, the high-lifted red scarves and the anthem ringing over the stadium – You’ll never walk alone…

Let’s go back to the summer of 1998. Then I was a 7 – years old kid with scratched knees and a relentless desire to run after the ball… I loved this game! I was waking up and going to bed with it, this was all I cared about. I only missed a kit and I wanted so much a football shirt of CSKA Sofia… I begged my dad to buy me, but in those years it was impossible to such a shirt outside Sofia… I will never forget how we walked round the city in search of the desired red T-shirt but unsuccessfully. We were in front of the next store when he finally bought me a red kit. With a bit disappointment I realized this it was not of CSKA Sofia and I asked sadly, who is this team? I received the eloquent answer – Liverpool! It was my first meeting with this team… The moment I joined the big red family. I didn’t take off my shirt for days! Since then I began to dream… I dreamed of going to the holy stadium one day, to wave the scarf and to sing with a full voice… I was a 7-years old kid with brave dreams and a red T-shirt…

This photo was taken 19 years later… A little grown up, but still loving Liverpool and the game with the same unabated passion. Now I was sitting upright on Anfield’s rostrum, proudly raising the red scarf, and with a unbelieving gaze that this was happening… There are no words in the world that can describe the feeling of confronting your dream come true… indescribable!
