It is beautiful, right? As if taken out from fairy tale… The purple house. It is located in Sirmione, on the corner between Via Vittorio Emanuele, Via Giuseppe Piana and Via S. Salvatore… a small square, where you have to watch out for passing cars on the narrow streets… It captivated my eyes on the dot! Accidently I found out a beautiful jewel in the resort town of Italy! Then I found that it is very popular and I found many photos of it in the social networks. I was delighted that my photo was of the best (however immodest it may sound), and I managed to capture the colors maybe in their optimal bloom. They were hanging everywhere around the open wooden shutters of the windows and scattering their beauty. It was as if people was crossing the threshold of the store in the house just to passing under the purple arch around the façade…
And the plant itself is Bougainvillea… Very beautiful and impressive! It likes to grow on walls and terraces and creates a magical emission of the buildings. Its origin is from South America, but it can be seen in many southern regions of Europe. It predisposed to great pictures! Do not miss it when you visit Sirmione!
